Barrel Beer Project - April 2, 2016

Location: Carson's Brewery


We'll be brewing an Imperial Stout this year to age in a Knob Creek barrel.
All ingredients will be provided by the club. Please reply if you're able to brew that day (5 gallons max per brewer).

Recipe:
17# pale (optionally replace 5# of the pale with 3# of dme if we want to make it easier on ourselves)
1.5# flaked rye
12 oz black malt
12 oz roasted barley
10 oz chocolate malt
1.5 oz Chinook 60 min
1.5 oz Chinook 15 min
1 oz Chinook 5 min
US05
