Barrel brew update of the fermentation:
4/2/16 OG: 1.085
4/4/16 Gravity: 1.052 temp 64 degrees. Bubbling nicely.
4/5/16 Bubbling away temp now 67 degrees.
4/6/16 Gravity: 1.032 temp 64 degrees. Moved fermenter to warmer location to finish fermentation.
NO INFECTIONS DETECTED ON TASTE SAMPLE!

I typed the wrong gravity a couple days ago. Gravity was 1.023. Gravity today is now 1.019.

Gravity yesterday was again 1.019. Fermenter was moved into main cooler to crash cool. Beer will be ready to rack to barrel tomorrow. Do you want me to do it, or is there anyone wanting to come out in the near future to get it done.

I figured that we'd just let Norrick take lead on that! :lol:


Won't there be about 15-20 gallons of excess 'un-barreled stout' that we need to get kegged from that? I won't be free until Saturday or after 6PM on Friday but I do have two empty kegs :beer9
