Cap Labels

Post by Dutch » Wed Jul 11, 2007 9:10 pm

I have been using an Avery label now for some time which may be of general interest. It is called a "Mailing Seal" and is #05247 and is readily available. It uses permanent adhesive and is 1" in diameter. They are 15 to a sheet and can be printed in any laser or inkjet printer. After printing I coat them with a clear spray to waterproof and then apply them directly to the caps [which makes bottle cleaning much easier]. I even use them on GROLSH ceramic caps.

I've used something similar. They work great for home use, but I've found during the meetings that once the cap is popped, you lose track of what is what. There is just too much beer! Wait, is that possible?

Remove label from cap, place on neck of bottle ... if it comes off easily.
