Would anyone have one of these mills that can tell me if it's a good buy or not?
If you have one, would you be willing to come by with it or let me drop by your place Friday night to try it out for myself before I order one? I'm brewing Sat. Morning and I'd like to try a different mill.
Anyone have a mill that they think is just the shiznit over the Schmidling?
Thanks for the help.

I don't know if anyone has one of these. I know a few of us have The Barley Crusher. It works just fine for me. Hooks right up to the drill.

Looking at the site. I like the capacity better. Do you have to adjust it for specialty grains or do you pretty much leave it alone? Thanks for the direction. I had seen this mill but I couldn't tell how homemade it was looking at the pics and wasn't sure about how durable it might be.

It's top quality and has a lifetime guarantee. Looks like the Schmidling has much wider rollers and probably crushes faster. I have the small hopper and have to fill it up around 3 times for a 10 gallon batch. It would be really easy to add on some more sheet aluminum or something to make the capacity larger, its just not that big a deal to me to fill it up a few times. I've never adjusted the rollers and have ran rye and wheat through it just fine. I know Dwayne has one also and has been doing double crushes with his. and screams "I WILL CRUSH YOU" in a Schwarzenegger accent while he's doing it.

I have the Schmidling mill (the non adjustable model) hooked up to a motor and a 10+ pound hopper... works sweeet. I have nicknamed it the widowmaker due to the large spoked pulley on the backside which will easily take a small brewers' arm and turm it to adjunct.
