Alright, who's going? I've committed to stewarding this year. If you would like to also send an email to Trevor Lee: plungecutter@yahoo.com. I know Jack said he is heading up Friday afternoon. A few of us talked at the cookout about getting a hotel room and that sounds great to me. I drove back on Saturday last year and that sucked big ones.

Count me in! Not sure yet whether Fri. or Sat AM is in the plan. Room idea sounds good.

"walking distance" is key I think!

Anyone else going?

I like the idea of "walking distance" myself, we could always split a cab to and fro the fairgrounds. If anyone else wants in , we could share the costs of the room and crash on the floor. We probably need to know soon.

Sounds good to me. Downtown is cool. What time are you planning on leaving on Saturday? Do you want to reserve the hotel or me?

I will reserve it either tonight or tomorrow. Will it just be John D. Chris N. and me or are others in?

Kenny, do you want to get there in time Sat.A.M. to be a steward. If so, we can leave here in the wee hours of the morning. Otherwise, we can leave a little later. I wouldn't mind being a steward, but need to know and send an e.mail if that is the plan.

Yes, I plan to steward as well, so were looking at at least somewhere around 3:00 to 4:00 am departure. Indy is an hour ahead of us and I think that the judging starts around 8:00 am. There is usually a breakfast / meeting before.

I will be leaving about 12 noon on Friday. I have room for 3 if you can leave that early. I have not reserved a room yet. If everybody is staying downtown, I will too. I'm willing to share a room Saturday night.
The downtown Radison on the circle has a $99.00 a night rate.

Has anyone who entered received their tickets for this yet ?

I have a fear that they didn't take my entry forms/ check from my box yet...

They have never cashed the checks until the actual fair in August in the past. If you don't get your tickets, you should be able to get in anyway.

Yea, I just checked with Anita, everything was received and they are sending tickets today.

I am staying downtown at the Radisson on the Circle Friday & Saturday nights. Where is everybody else staying?

I'll bunk up with you Jack on Saturday if it's alright. We can at least split that night. If not I'll crash with Kenny. I'm not sure where he ended up getting a room. Anybody got room for me in their car Saturday morning? I'd volunteer to drive but three just doesn't fit too well in the truck or Mustang...
