Re: First Nano brewery in the works for downtown Evansville
Yes, it's me. What I lack in brewing talent, I hope to make up for with location and luck...and some help from my friends. There are just a ton of great things going on at Haynie's Corner - two new restaurants and the expansion of the Bokeh Lounge. I'm hoping the Evansville Brewhouse will complement rather than compete. We will just be a small brewery and taproom with beer by the glass and growler only and carry-in/order-in food always welcome. Even though I'm way to old to be doing this, everything just kind of fell into place. The building so just about perfect for a nanobrewery, it's only a couple blocks from my home, and the area is undergoing a transformation. Besides, it's not like it's my money...it's my kids' inheritance!
