New dedicated homebrew supply store

Post by Mike » Tue Dec 09, 2014 8:09 pm

There is a new homebrew store at the corner of Heidelbach & Franklin in the old NAPA autoparts store. I stopped in tonight to check it out. It's a nice store with reasonable prices compared to some online prices I've seen. The hours are 3-7 during the week for now. Not sure of the weekend hours but they plan to expand the hours later.

CYO Brewing I think is the name. Went in there opening day. If things take off like they say, will be a really great shop! I believe they mentioned to Michael Julian that they would eventually would sell specialty grain in bulk. All hops kept frozen, and wyeast which is not sold around here.

Drew seems to be a really nice guy. I sure hope they can make it work between the two stores. They have a place in Owensboro as well. He did tell me that the main brewery will be in the Evansville location. We may be seeing a 2bbl system going in soon.
