I had a great time today.I met some new people and brewed a good beer.See ya's next meeting.

It was my wife and I's first group brew and was a blast. Got to meet some of you that we haven't been able to at the meetings and made some new friends! Also thanks Tin Man Brewing Company for the use of the lot, hot water and of course the bathrooms!! lol!!

I forgot to wirlfloc
Foollow up readings (on the web)indicate this is not a problem.
I eded up with a very cean wort that settled well in the carboy with about 1/2 inch of trub.SG after boil was ~2 points uder calculated but typical of my brews away from home.I left a sample in my test tube,uncovered,overnight and it still tasted fresh at noon,today.My Belle Sason Dry Yeast took off right away after rehydration...zero lag time.Blowing off by early morning and I had to empty my 4 cupoverflow @ ~ 10:am ( ~1/3 c. lqd and krausen over th top).
