How about a MEAD PROJECT?

Post by Dutch » Thu Sep 05, 2013 12:01 pm

Anyone interested in making mead? With all the fruit of the season I was thinking of making some pear mead. Difficult to juice so I would justuse the mashed fruit in the primary. Jack indicated he could get us a large tub of honey.
Post any responses here.

I used to make a lot of mead. I started carbonating it at one point to put on tap and everyone loved it so much I just started making braggots with fruit. Going back to mead is tough for me. It doesn't stop me from buying 50 lb buckets of honey now and then though. :)
