Controller for Fermentation/Chiller

Post by Dutch » Mon May 20, 2013 7:21 pm

I have been investigating an alternative to the RANCO controller to use for the control of a chest freezer for example. I have come across a small unit from China of which I now have one. I have finally figured out how to program the unit and it seems to act very similar to the RANCO.
Ratings are similar but only 10AMPS contact rating which should do the job for most applications. I now need to put it in service for a final test. More to follow but the cost is very attractive at around $13. It does not come with a case but I can kluge up something from rectangular tubing for protection. More to follow.
