How many brewers are going to be there?
and what services are you going to need ie Water, Electricity???

If I can get a number of brewers I can pass this along to Patrick at Weber.

Thanks,
Art

From Patrick @ Weber:
I will need to know how many people to have here to help and we will need to discuss utilities/locations for brew stations because this old building is limited in terms of water & electric. I may ask the chiropractor next door to support us if needed. Please let me know expected number of people and hours so I can have appropriate help on hand. We want to be good hosts in support of OVHA so please let me know how else we can help.

Sadly I'll be missing this year again. That time of year is always Dragon slaying season in the Smokies with the MINI Cooper club. However, I am inviting out my USI brewing class to attend.

This should be a special year with the location right on Franklin street. Heck of a location. You guys have fun!

It's Big Brew time again! Just three weeks away!

This national event celebrates National Homebrew Day (always the first Saturday in May) by getting together as a club and brewing for the public.

Bring out your setup and brew right along historic Franklin Street in front of Weber Equipment (2218 W Franklin St Evansville, IN 47712). Setup begins at 8 a.m. and we'll try to wrap up in early afternoon. Don't forget the worldwide toast at Noon!

Facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/483870098334468/

Suggested Big Brew recipes from the American Homebrewer's Association: http://www.homebrewersassociation.org/p ... ay/recipes

As in years past, the club will supply ingredients for the suggested recipes and the Big Turkey winning recipe in exchange for the brewer supplying at least half the keg (or bottles) to one of our upcoming festivals. Club-supplied ingredients are limited so feel free to bring your own ingredients and brew what ever you want!

Sign up here if you are brewing and claim a club-supplied batch. Erwin has the blonde! (don't tell his wife).

signup deadline is April the 25th. So I have time to order supplies for those brewing the AHA recipes and Big Turkey. Remember if the club supplies the grains you'll give half to the club for for future events.

Thanks,
Art
