Entry Requirements: three (3) bottles or cans
Judging: Friday, July 6, 2012 and Saturday, July 7, 2012
Judging Location: Indiana State Fairgrounds
Each exhibitor will receive two tickets to the Brewers’ Cup Award Reception on Saturday, July 7 at 6:00 pm on the Indiana State Fairgrounds. Results will be announced for Home Brewer and Professional Brewer class entries during the awards reception and at http://www.brewerscup.org

1. All 2012 Brewers’ Cup entries must be made online at http://www.brewerscup.org and paid by credit card. Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover accepted.
2. Entry fee for the Home Brewer is $10.00 per beer (3 - 12 oz bottles per entry) and for the Professional entry fee is $30.00 per beer (3 bottles any size per entry)
3. Entries submitted without the completed online entry form and proof of payment will not be judged
4. Each Home Brewer entry must consist of three (3) bottles, 12 ounces in volume, brown or green glass, and must be completely free of paper labels, raised-glass, and/or inked brand-name lettering. Brewers are encouraged to use plain gold or silver caps. Obliterate any lettering or graphics on the cap with a permanent black marker. Bottles with Grolsch-type swing tops are not
allowed. Corked bottles meeting the above restrictions are acceptable; however, you must crimp a crown over the cork.
**Bottles that do not meet these requirements will be disqualified and will not be judged. There will be no refund of entry fees
5. Entries will be judged according to the 2008 version of the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP) style guidelines at http://www.bjcp.org/stylecenter.php. Categories are designated by numbers and subcategories are designated with letters
6. Entries will be accepted for BJCP categories 1-23. NO MEAD AND CIDER ENTRIES ACCEPTED
7. Do not submit more than one per subcategory except for categories 16-E, 20, 21, 22 and 23. Example: It is NOT acceptable to enter two American Pale Ales, but it IS acceptable to enter one American Pale Ale and one American Amber Ale since these are in different subcategories of the American Pale Ales category.
***Multiple entries may be submitted in categories 16-E (Belgian Specialty Ale), 20 (Fruit Beers), 21 (Spice/Herb/Vegetable), 22 (Smoke flavored and Wood aged beers), and 23 (Specialty Beers).

Section HB - Home Brewer
This competition has been selected to be a qualifying event for the Masters Championship of Amateur Brewing for 2012.
1. Entries may not be submitted that have been brewed on equipment used for any commercial purpose, including research,
production, or brew-on-premise establishments. Professional brewers cannot compete in the Home Brew division. To be
eligible to compete as an Indiana Home Brew Club, 60% of the membership must reside in Indiana.
2. Assistant brewers of award winning beers will be announced and listed in official results, but prizes will be presented only to the primary brewer.
3. Entries must receive a minimum judge’s score of 24 to be eligible for an award. First, second and third places will be awarded to the top three eligible entries in each flight. The first place winner in each flight will advance to the Home Brewer Class “Best of Show” round.
