Does anyone have #10 of Maris Otter they would be willing to trade for #10 of US 2 Row?

Elizabeth and I are brewing an Irish Stout on New Years Eve and I want to be as "true to style" as possible.

Thanks,

I've got some Maris Otter if you're going to be in Evansville. If your 2 row is the Cargill Special Pale, you would be fine using that just the same. Special pale is kilned a bit higher than regular 2 row getting it closer to MO. American 2row is not as fully modified as British malt, but your not using more than 30% adjuncts for your stout so you should be fine. Just think of Special Pale as US MO.
PM me for address if you still want the grain. We could sample a few beers too.

It's the 2 row that we get from Jack. I am not sure if that is Special Pale or not..

Unless you've specified something different the default US 2 row is Special Pale.
