I know this might sound a bit sacriligous but can a oda tap be used effectively with beer? I have three COCA COLA taps from a small serving unit [the one with the 3-pass cold plate that I gave to Jack].
Are there any issues with the mechanics/alcohol or something else?

I'm not sure. I believe there is an exploded diagram of one in the Foxx Equipment catalogue. I've got a couple of Pepsi myself.
