Hi, I'm new to homebrewing and just getting into it. Are there any local shops to buy ingredients/equipment? By googling I have only been able to find a shop in Jasper and Owensboro. I've been ordering stuff online and tired of paying S/H. If you order online what site do you guys like? Also, I recently just got a kegorator and was wondering where you guys have your co2 filled. I went to airgas on Burkhardt and they did it, but they seemed higher than what I figured it would be. Thanks for your help.

Welcome
In Evansville the only place is CO-OP on St. Joe and Mill Rd. Al will order something for you if he doesn't have it in stock (but he only orders every two weeks).
I order a lot of little things and specialty grains from Northern Brewer. I try to order what I need for several brews at one time ($7.95 shipping). It can get expensive.

More Beer has free shipping on most items if you buy $59

CO2
Airgas or I get my tanks filled at Koorsen.

Midwest is where I have got my stuff before. They are pretty quick in delivery it seems. Is it possible to fill a 2.5lb co2 tank with a 20lb co2 tank? Was curious, because the guy at airgas charged me $32 to fill that little 2.5lb tank that came with my kegorator.

You might try Buck and Jake's in Boonville on the 2.5 lb tank. I know they fill paint ball gun tanks for about five bucks.

Some new local places, from the OHVA Facebook discussion:
Ruby Moon Winery in Henderson, KY has a limited supply of homebrew supplies. They can also order just about anything you need.
If you go to Washington Square Mall, you can get some supplies from the old Elder Bearmen Store. 2nd floor.
There is a co-op in Evansville that stocks supplies on the corner of St. Joe and Mill Rd. The co-op in Mt. Vernon also has supplies.
There is a small shop in Jasper in a guys basement.
Mail order:
Midwest Supplies and Northern Brewer are excellent in my experience. Williams sometimes has unique gadgets and some good hop deals on occasion.
Rebel Brewer, Goodlettsville, TN,
http://www.rebelbrewer.com delivers near next day or next day.
There is a large shop in Elkhart that mailorders:

Great Fermentations is in Indy and mailorder.

HERBS & HEIRLOOMS, INC. is in Terre Haute. I hear their stuff smells like incense.

For small CO2 tanks, you can also go to the Pool Supply place on Franklin Ave. I think a 5 lb is $16.
