I have a reconditioned keg I bought. It was obviously a coke keg based on its short squatty style. It has been converted to the ball lock style. I have tried for some time now to make the connections work. I know I have gas at the ball lock at the end of the hose....I can crack the plastic screw on top and hear the gas. I can also depress the pin with a screw driver and get quite a blast of gas. But.... I cannot get it into the tank. I have disassembled it and put it all back together like the drawings/pics I have seen to no avail!
Any tips?

I'll be off work till Feb 14th. so I have plenty of time to help.

Re: Damn Coke Keg!
Don,
Thanks for offering the help. I got tied up working on my old truck Saturday and wasn't able to get back with you. I spent some time with the thing on Sunday and got it to work. It seemed a bit odd, but I tried it twice to see if I could duplicate what I did to make it work. I hooked up the connections and turned on the gas at the tank. It pressurized the line, but not the keg. I unscrewed the top cap of the coupler and bled off a little air and then closed it...immediately the gas began to flow into the keg.
