Well so far I can state for a fact that there are No brewpubs in Barcelona Spain.
They do have a draft at a lot of the bars that they said is similar to Millers, which didn't make me to happy but after tasting it there was a lot more body and hopps, was a pretty refreshing beer and reminded me of some of my past Donweisers.
On to France on Saturday, I think it will be a wine day.

For Spain:

Give me a log of chorizo please: Déme un registro del chorizo por favor.
Holy Shit! That bull is loose: La mierda santa, ese toro es floja !!!
That scarf looks gay: Esa bufanda parece gay. (forgive me, I couldn't resist this one)

For France:

Do you have Bier De Garde : Vous avez n'importe quelle civière De Garde.
What beer do you have: Quelle bière vous ont.
Excuse me, I think you dropped your rifle: Excusez-moi, je pensent que vous avez laissé tomber votre fusil.
Me?, I am a Canadian: Je?, je suis un Canadien.

Where else you goin' ... I'm worldly.

If you can't find good beer in Europe, try the Picon Biere. It is tasty. They add Picon (a bitter orange liquer) to the beer for a nice citrusy blend. Mostly in France, though.

But in Italy, Nutella gelato is delicious!! Also, have a limoncello for me!

I have been sampleing lemoncellos all through France and Italy.
I'm bound to find the right one by the time I get to Naples.

Or if you don't find the right one, keep trying.

If you dig deep and go away from the tourist areas you can find some good beers in Italy and Greece.
For my Belgian beer friends there were several I even liked:
Birra Baladin Isaac
Type: Belgian White (Witbier)
ABV: 5.0%, Bottle Size: 750ml
It has a taste of apricot, pear and fig with a nice spicy note and easy to drink.
The 750ml was a lot so I had to share it with others, needed to leave room for my Limoncello.

I sampled a Birra Amarcord La Tabachera
Type: Belgian Strong Ale, ABV: 9.0%
Didn't really get enough to totally understand what this beer was like (might have something to do with the 3 Limmoncellos I had before I found this beer on the menu. It tasted a lot like some of my strong ales.

Birra Moretti is their version of Budweiser (so they think)
Type: Pale Lager, ABV: 4.6%
Its just fine, nothing special, but easy drinker on a hot day outside a pizza restaurant. (Before my Limonchello)

I traveled all the way down the Amalfi coast (which is the area that grows the lemons used to create the Limoncello). These lemons are unlike any I have ever tasted before, We ate at a restaurant that is known for producing Limonchello, and the owner sat down with us and spent several hours describing how they make it, it has been their family business for several generations, He continued to pour us fresh shots (Ice cold form the freezer) the whole time and this encounter cost me dearly.
1 Our wifes went shopping while we sampled.
2 I think we shipped back several hundred dollars of Limonchello and herb infused olive oil and local wines in the process.
This was one or the best days of our trip, and the Amalfi coast is unreal. My wife has already found the villa that will be our next vacation...................

Now it's time to turn the CO2 back on my kegs and get back to the real life.
