This guy did a side by side by side comparison of a wort split into three and
aerated with three methods. Not at all, splashed, and aerated with oxygen through a stone.
Looks like splashing and oxygen are pretty close. The important part is that they are both FAR better than no oxygenation. I would like to have seen how long complete fermentation took and what the final gravities were.
Point is - shake that wort (at least)!
