Kegging Question
I am hoping to brew some beer for a small wedding this fall. If I had three separate 5 gallon kegs , but a two kegs/gas setup, could I carbonate one tank the week before and then just keep it refrigerated until ready to hook it up, or does it have to be under constant pressure?

Re: Kegging Question
You could also put a tee in one of the lines and feed three a once. Either way works.BREWsmith wrote:That should be fine.

Re: Kegging Question
You can carbonate anytime, unhook, then rehook at will. A keg is just a big can of beer. At one point this past summer I had 23 kegs ready to drink. I always batch age my big beers (barleywine, RIS) for at least 9 months before putting in bottles.
Just make sure you have a check valve on each line if you split the co2 lines.

You gonna buy one, or be one?

OK....next question.
Could one take some beer off tap and place it in a few bottles for someone to take home with them?
