Re: New yeast offering from Wyeast/Austin Homebrew Supply
At first with the fruity and high flocculation, I was thinking "English" yeast, but it's got higher attenuation. But only 10% ABV tolerant? What's up with that? Making kiddie Kool Aid?
I picked up Whit Labs' Platnium strain Australian Ale last year. I really like this yeast. It has the best parts of belgian strains (alcohol, temperature tolerant, Great attenuation) american strains (clean fermentation, med- high floculation), and has an English fruity flavor.
