Jeff,
If you haven't ordered yet I'd like a pound each of: Hallertau (GR) Pellet Hops and Czech Saaz Pellet Hops. No rush, I'm thinking of aging half of them anyway. If you have ordered already, thanks anyway.
You gonna buy one, or be one?

I ordered yesterday, but I'll contact them to see if I can add to my order.

John, you are a go on your hops. I'll let you know as soon as they come in and I can make arrangements to get them in your hands if you need them prior to regular January meeting.

Personally, I ordered a pound each of Cascade pellets, US Saaz pellets, and Amarillo leafs should anyone have a need for a few ounces.

I was just looking for some myself...
I am looking for:
6.5oz Goldings
2.0oz Fuggles
2.0oz Challenger

I do not really have the resources right now to go deep so if any one will allow me to piggy back I would appreciate it...

Newsfrom Hops Direct:

Harvest News
Our 2010 hop crop is looking to be an average to lighter crop due to an unusually cool and wet spring.  The changes in our weather patterns have also delayed the crop somewhat ......... therefore, we look to begin picking hops near the end of August. Cooler spring temps can be an indicator of lower alpha levels in the crop but until we get samples back from the state lab, it is just too early to tell.  On the flip side, it is a clean crop; the mites and mildew seem to be under control at this point so we should have good quality hops to work with.  That's how we see it...here on the farm. If  you are ordering this year you may expect a slight delay due to harvest and our picking schedule being pushed back farther than normal.

So I guess we can expect about $20 Lbs with lower Alpha levels, but the good news is that they will have new Citra, and Sterling hops

I forgot to post this. I met a local hop farmer at the Jasper contest! It is called Rattlesnake Hollow Hop Farm, 8156 Simmons Creek Road, Shoals, IN 47581. 812-936-2618. Organically grown. They will have Horizon, Mt. Hood, Centenial, Pearle, Fuggle, Cascade, Sterling, Chinnook, and Nugget this year. You can pick your own and they would love for us to come out.

Has anyone contacted the guy in Shoals? What info do you have? Availability, costs, AA%, etc.

I have talked to him. Sun King got most of his Cascade & Centennial. He is going to call me when he has figured out what he has available.

Hops Direct has limited 2010 crop available. It doesn't look like the alpha acids were affected much by the wet spring.
2009 willamette's for $6.75/lb!
