Leinie Tour

Post by Dwayne_Delaney » Mon Sep 20, 2010 9:34 pm

On the way back from Ely, MN we visited the Leinenkugel Brewery in Chippewa Falls. They have a nice huge visitor center/store that they call Leinie Lodge. Each person gets 2 free 12oz. beers. The brewery tour was good and our guide was able to answer most of our questions. We were not allowed to take any pictures inside the brewery though.

The beer culture of Wisconsin is really great. I've heard that the mayor of Chippewa Falls rolls out the first barrel from the brewery with the cerimonial tapping starting Octoberfest.
Even Milwaukee had a great selection of non Miller beers at many bars I visited many years ago.
You gonna buy one, or be one?
.....I'm gonna be one!

Great Pictures Dwayne! I have always wanted to go to the Leinie Lodge!
If your beer doesn't come out exactly right, call a brew-over!
