Custom Tap Handles

Post by Dutch » Tue Mar 02, 2010 1:14 pm

I am considering making a bunch of custom tap handles. I have access to some turnings and with the equipment in my woodshop at hand, I think I will make up a batch. Perhaps I will bring them to the next meeting [maybe April] to see what interest there would be for some more customized versions. I would envision something that could be easily modified by the user to indicate the current beer on tap.
I am considering a turned spindle tap with a flat portion and some 3" square wooden section with a removable plastic cover where the owner could easily print some insert and easily slide it in.
Any thoughts?

Sounds great, I'll be needing some when ever I get my Kegerator finished.

I'd like at least 1 to add to my collection. How could anybody pass up a Dehann original?
A bargain at twice the price!!!
You gonna buy one, or be one?
.....I'm gonna be one!
