Holiday Party - Wednesday 12/16

Post by Chris Alvey » Thu Nov 19, 2009 7:16 am

The December meeting will be our annual holiday party. This will be held at Germania at 7:00pm on Wednesday December 16th.

Please Bring:
  • Some winter/holiday beers to share.
  • Some sort of food or other treats.
  • Your spouse or a guest.
So that we do not have 100 Jello molds, please add what you intend to bring (food-wise) to this thread. John Dippel has dibs on some smoked turkey and pork (always delicious.)

OK, she said we will bring some Broccoli casserole, and I will bring some Smoked Porter. My Winter Warmer may be ready by then as well and my latest batch of old Ale.

I'm going to bring some sweet barbeque meatballs. In addition to some homebrew, I'm bringing a bottle of Lost Abbey's Gift of the Magi and some wine for the ladies.

I'll bring home made red beans & rice, bread & butter pickles, and dill pickles.
You gonna buy one, or be one?

OK, that's it, I can't stand it.
Since I can't make it to the Party, I am officially ignoring this thread.

Thanks to everyone who attended or were responsible for the holiday party. My wife and I had a wonderful time and she was really enjoyed putting some faces to names. Also, the food and beverages were terrific (Eric, I need your apple/peach crisp recipe!). I hope everyone has a joyous and safe holiday season, and I look forward to seeing you all again in 2010!
