SWIRCA Festival, Aug 15, 2009

Post by jefrey3 » Wed Jun 24, 2009 9:36 pm

SWIRCA needs to know some of the beers we will be bringing to the festival so they can put them into the program. Post heer if you know what you are bringing.

Also, is anyone interested in participating in the tasting for the radio station promos? A DJ will come to talk to us about the beer & then use the info in their promos. Last year we met at Turoni's for this. A date has not been set.

Do you have a deadline for the beers?
I'm not sure which ones I'm brining at this time.

Jack,
I'll be bringing the Big Turkey American Pale Ale, and at least a Belgian Pale. Other's to be determined. There's just too many hot days between now and then to know for sure what I'll have left in a keg, or what I'll brew between now and then to have available.
You gonna buy one, or be one?

Sure, if someone has some easily on hand I think that would be great.

I don't have any explosive meads going this year....yet, but that reminds me, I should look around here. That explosive mead from last year is bottled up somewhere in the brewery. I'll se about bringing it if anybody would remember it for a sample.

I'll pull some stuff together but others please fell free to bring whatever. Old grain, hops, equipment, books, etc. I'll bring our free special edition Zymergy mags for anyone that seems really interested.

Chris, do you have enough brochures?

I do not have an exact count but I would guess 20 maybe ... if you have more on hand it would not hurt to bring them.

I sold my allotment of 10 tickets, but I need one more. If someone has an unsold ticket, please hold it for me. Thanks.
