If you happen to have a vial of this in your fridge, I'll give my left arm. I've had some sitting around for awhile and it's been in a starter for a couple of days with no activity so I think it's completely dead. It's the yeast I had planned for a Big Brew Oktoberfest...
As a side note, the Fantom Saison yeast is growing up nicely. As is the Wyeast 3711 saison yeast I salvaged from the bottom of the keg. The plan is to use one of these for the offical Big Brew saison. The Fantom definitely has some "bugs" in it, and should be an exciting experiment. Didn't someone already use some of this yeast? Alvey?

Re: Wanted: WL 833 German Bock Yeast
Actually had a little activity in the starter today! There is something kicking in there! Probably won't be as big of a starter as I would like for a lager, but it's better than nothing I guess.
