OK, the official plan is as follows:

Meet at Turonis on Main Street 3:30PM Saturday to load the draft cart, Canopy, and so forth.

We plan to be at Bosse Field Setting up between 4:00-4:30PM.

All Volunteers must be at Bosse Field and checked in with a bracelet no later then 5:30PM. Earlier is better since it starts at 6:00PM

The event will run from 6-10PM

We have a tentative server schedule for the OVHA cart:

6-7
Sky Buttrum, Pete Frederick, Frank Tycheck, Jeremy Dunn

7-7:45
Cesar Gonzalez, Amelia Gonzalez, Kenny Purcell, Jaime Purcell

7:45-9
Chris Norrick, Jeff Smith, Michael Erwin, Tony Reisling

9-10
Maryann DeHaan, Dutch DeHaan, Don Armstrong, Kim Armstrong

It looks like we will only have about 14 kegs and some bottles so we will probably not need 4 people pouring at one time, please take turns and help each other during your sheduled shift. SWIRCA wants us to be at our serving stations 15 minutes before schedule for smooth transitioning. During this time (7:45-8) we may need additional help at the draft cart.

Dont Forget to have fun!

And remember Indiana DRAM shop laws!! It is illegal and you may be held liable to serve alcohol to a person who is visibly intoxicated. Don't be afraid to turn someone away!

(Formerly: Acts 1973, P.L.55, SEC.1.) As amended by Acts 1978, P.L.2, SEC.721; P.L.86-1985, SEC.1; P.L.125-2000, SEC.4.

Sec. 15.5. (a) As used in this section, "furnish" includes barter, deliver, sell, exchange, provide, or give away.
(b) A person who furnishes an alcoholic beverage to a person is not liable in a civil action for damages caused by the impairment or intoxication of the person who was furnished the alcoholic beverage unless:
(1) the person furnishing the alcoholic beverage had actual knowledge that the person to whom the alcoholic beverage was furnished was visibly intoxicated at the time the alcoholic beverage was furnished; and
(2) the intoxication of the person to whom the alcoholic beverage was furnished was a proximate cause of the death, injury, or damage alleged in the complaint.
(c) If a person who is at least twenty-one (21) years of age suffers injury or death proximately caused by the person's voluntary intoxication, the:
(1) person;
(2) person's dependents;
(3) person's personal representative; or
(4) person's heirs;
may not assert a claim for damages for personal injury or death against a person who furnished an alcoholic beverage that contributed to the person's intoxication, unless subsections (b)(1) and (b)(2) apply.

Keith at SWIRCA suggested that, between us and Turoni, we take the ice that will have been previously bagged at the SWIRCA facility for our use at the event. We should make contact with Keith and pick up the ice when are loading at Turoni's.

SWIRCA is asking if we have a Homebrewing 101 presentation prepared. I know we talked about this awhile back but I don't think anyone stepped up to do it. I told her not to put it on the itinerary but I would see if anyone was willing to do it.

I was only at our booth a total of 10 minutes! That serving schedule was killer.
