Tasted my 3.5 % ABV, 18 IBU Sterling Pils malt SMASH yesterday. Reaction: just beer. Nothing exciting. But certainly a beer to judge brewing, fermentation, and packaging. Nothing there to hide flaws behind.
You gonna buy one, or be one?

My Munich Amarillo came in at 5.5% and was tasty. Jamie put it best when she said it was good but missing something. I told her two to three ingredients.

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday, June 26 is SMaSHfest 2013! What I'd like you to do is bring around a liter give or take of your SMaSH beer along with a copy of the recipe. We will set all the brews on a central table for attendees to sample.

Thanks so much for participating in this educational and, hopefully, fun project! Maybe a KISSfest project in 2014?
