Changes for The Brew Ha Ha this year

Post by Kenny Lucas » Thu Sep 20, 2007 6:07 pm

As Jack may have mentioned earlier, the Brew Ha Ha will be different this year. The following is an e-mail that I got from Jane...

Kenny,

Our set up is quite a bit different this year.

The beers that are normally under the tents on the back lawn will be in the museum Old Gallery. The patrons will have a 2.5 oz sampling glass for use inside, to use with your group and the Warrick Co. Co-op.

You will be on the back lawn as in previous years with the band, the Gerst House food and a couple of beer wagons. We will be selling beer from the beer wagons. The patrons will buy tickets and be given 16 oz glasses for the purchase beer.

If you have any questions let me know.

We are looking forward to working with you again this year.

Jane

Hopefully we will have some traffic outside. Looks like the majority of the beers will be inside. I'm anxious to see what the 16 oz beer selection will be. Maybe Bud select and Michelob Ultra?

I offered the club to help with anything she needed but it sounds like most things are covered.

Sounds like the party is outside this year. We will make the best of it I'm sure. I was pretty negative about the addition of the wineries to SWIRCA and that has turned out well. Maybe this change will bring more people; the crowd was pretty thin last year. I'm not sure how many people will be willing to buy beer from the wagons after shelling out $25 for a ticket though.
