Auktionfest Event, Thur, Oct 18, 5:30-9 pm

Leah Spivey, Director of Marketing for Tin Man contacted me to see if we are interested in this event. Full details are below. I told her October is a very busy month for us with Indiana Homebrew Club Day, Wondering Owl, the meeting, and then Learn to Homebrew Day the next Saturday in Nov. She understands if we can't make it. I figure if we can pull together three kegs and a couple of people we can do it because it is only 60-75 people. It looks like a great event for beer education in Evansville. I'm out of town that day but I would donate some Stout.

Seems like everything happens in October! I completely understand. The event is a tasting event and the attendance will be around 60-75 people. It will be held at the Germania Mannerchor from 5:30-9 p.m. Oct. 18. The event is call Auktionfest which is a spin off Oktoberfest and my club AAF (American Advertising Federation) will be hosting it. One of my goals (along with Tin Man) is to further education Evansville about craft beer. The folks that will be attending are craft beer's demographic and people that love to talk and spread the word so I'm trying to get as much craft beer and styles in there as possible to ensure there's something for everyone!
