Seeking Beer Donations for Brewing Class

Post by Chris Norrick » Mon Feb 20, 2012 9:49 pm

I've been limited to only serving homebrew at the USI brewing class. I don't have a very varied personal collection at the moment. I'm calling on the collective brewing skills of the club to provide some good examples of classic styles. It doesn't have to be anything fancy or award winning. I just want to show the range of what's possible with homebrewing.

If you would be so kind, please bring a couple of labeled bottles of your beer to the February or March meeting to share with the class. I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks,
Chris Norrick

Chris, I can't make the meeting next week, but what I have is a Scottish 60/-, which is pretty plain jane, except it's an excellent representation of the style, and does have a subtle caramel-ness. Also, I have a fresh Saison without any spices in it, but also very very good. You're welcome to some if we can make other arrangements.

That's what I'm talkin' about. Thank you so much. Either bring it to the March meeting or I can swing by and pick it up sometime.

I have MyDonweiser lagering at 28 deg right now and will more than likely leave it there for another month but after I keg it Ill bottle some up for you. About how many do you want?

I also have a fresh batch of Oatmeal Stout kegged if you want some.

When are you planning on serving it, because I've also got 3 different IPA's but not sure how much longer they'll be fresh..

Chris,

I am donating 1 bottle each of four different extract brews I've done. I dropped them at Turoni's last night (3/31) with a request for Jack to pass them along to you and your class.

I am home every third weekend, so this was the only time I had to get them out where you could grab them.

Best of luck with your class!
