I need a welder to modify my burner stand. Something close to north (home) or downtown (work), just a simple job of moving the wind shield higher up on the legs.
Any recommendations?

Some people say the glass is half empty.
Some say it's half full.
I just want to know who's drinking my damn beer!

Your burner has a windshield? Wow. Now that's a decked out brew stand. Is it like the sneeze gard on the salad bar at Ponderosa?Michael Erwin wrote:I need a welder to modify my burner stand. Suggestion: Brew with less wind.
You gonna buy one, or be one?

Right. I'm an all-weather brewer.
Actually, I'm getting tired of the flame being 6 inches from the kettle.

Any way to make it a mechanical move - like screws and such - to make it adjustable as well?
I have a welding setup but not a good welder. I use a guy in Poseyville.

Kenny Lucas (part of the North Side Crew) has offered welding services before. Hit him up. Be sure to give the correct gang sign.
